How does it work?

Priligy contains the active ingredient dapoxetine, which belongs to selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). While SSRIs were developed to treat depression, they also delay ejaculation, and dapoxetine is a short-acting SSRI designed specifically for this use. It increases the activity of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that helps pass the signal between nerve cells. An increase in serotonin activity prolongs ejaculation time and helps the man keep his ejaculation under control.

Priligy is similar to some antidepressants, but works faster and stays in the body for less time. Some men who take antidepressants complain that they experience delayed ejaculation as a side effect. For premature ejaculation, Priligy is not an antidepressant, although it shares similarities in how it works.

The effect of the active ingredient dapoxetine lasts about an hour and lasts up to four hours.

How is it used?

Priligy tablets should be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. The tablets can be swallowed with or without food. Take one tablet one to three hours before planned sexual activity. You should not drink alcohol during this time, as alcohol consumption increases the risk of side effects such as dizziness and fainting. Do not take Priligy more than once every 24 hours.

The usual Priligy dose is 30 mg. If necessary, the standard dose can be increased to 60 mg by the doctor.

What is Priligy?

Priligy is an oral medication for premature ejaculation in men between the ages of 18 and 64 who cannot control their ejaculation naturally. Priligy tablets contain the active ingredient dapoxetine hydrochloride, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI).

Premature ejaculation is not a life-threatening condition, but it can cause psychological problems such as low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. Therefore, it is important to find an effective treatment.

Premature ejaculation is one of the most common sexual problems in men. Men with this problem often find that they don't have much control over climax, which can be frustrating and embarrassing. However, Priligy has been shown to delay ejaculation.

Priligy is usually referred to as a urology drug, but it belongs to the group of antidepressants such as citalopram, sertraline and fluoxetine. Priligy's difference as an SSRI is that it's not approved to treat depression or similar mental health problems - it's only used to treat premature ejaculation.

The effects of Priligy last up to four hours after taking the tablet. It can almost double the length of intercourse and helps men gain better control over when they ejaculate. It does not affect the quality of the sexual act.

In what dosages can you buy Priligy?

The drug Priligy is available in tablet form. These tablets are manufactured in 2 dosages (30 mg and 60 mg).

Most of the time, premature ejaculation does not require treatment, but if the problem persists, treatment with dapoxetine may be advisable. Dapoxetine is used when needed and is not intended for long-term use.

I have suffered from premature ejaculation for many years and have tried all sorts of sprays etc. Priligy is the best I've taken so far. 30mg didn't work that well for me so I now take 60mg 3 hours before intercourse with a meal. Priligy sometimes causes mild nausea lasting about 15 minutes 30 minutes to an hour after taking the tablet. No other side effects. I can only recommend Priligy.
