How does it work?

The active substance in Lyrica pregabalin belongs to gamma-aminobutyric acid analogues. It works by decreasing the excitability of neurons in the central nervous system by binding to a subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels and inhibiting the release of neurotransmitters.

How is it used?

Lyrica hard capsules are taken orally. The dose is determined by the doctor. Usually the dose is 150 to 600 mg daily, given in 2 or 3 divided doses.
