Zava (formerly DrEd) is the leading and licensed telemedicine provider in the UK, founded in London in 2010 by David Meinertz and Amit Khutti. Until 2018 the provider was called DrEd.
This provider has been active as an online medical practice for home use since 2011. Zava not only works in the UK, but also in Germany, Ireland and France.
Zava is considered a pioneer in telemedicine services and has performed over 5 million consultations and treatments. The online consultation takes place via the website (www.zavamed.com/uk/) using a medical questionnaire. Please note orders made on zavamed.com/uk/ can only be delivered to addresses in the United Kingdom.
The Zava team consists of approximately 200 employees, including approximately 20 licensed physicians. The team is based in London.
Zavamed has been providing an app since April 2020. This is useful for the patients who would like to speak directly to a doctor. With the app it is possible to book a video or telephone consultation.

The website gets 4 stars from us. It is not easy to find a full list of medications as well as information about those medications.
The range contains 5 stars from us. The selection is very large. There are many treatment categories and many medicines.
We rated the value for money as 3 out of 5. The pricing model is not transparent because prescription fees of between €9.00 and €29.00 are incurred when the order is placed. This means that you should pay for the medicine and for the prescription. In addition to the prescription fee, shipping costs may also apply.
We were completely satisfied with the customer service , which is why we can rate the service with 5 stars. In addition to online advice, a doctor's consultation by phone/video with the help of the Zava app and photo diagnosis for skin problems are also offered. With the app it is possible to book a telephone or video consultation and select a doctor.
Due to several delivery and collection options and the fast shipping, we rate the delivery with 5 stars. Depending on the selected delivery option, the shipping time varies from 1 to 9 working days.

All medicines are way too expensive. You can get them about 50% cheaper elsewhere.

The delivery was super fast. However, the shipping packaging needs improvement as one drug had already had its packaging damaged.

Large selection of medicines and great service! The prescription was issued quickly and my delivery was very uncomplicated and within 24 hours.
